Customers — Create, Edit & Delete
This guide covers the workflow for maintaining Customers (end-customer / recipient records) used on orders and shipments.
Where: go to /admin/customers.
Create a customer
- Go to
/admin/customers. - Click Create customer.
- Select the Client.
- Fill in Contact Details:
- Label (internal reference)
- Optional Customer Reference
- Account status (Active / On hold / Inactive)
- Can receive pallets (enable only when applicable)
- (Optional) Set Custom Shipment Prices by package format.
- Fill in Addresses:
- Shipping address fields are required (line 1, city, postcode, country).
- If billing differs, turn off Billing address is the same as shipping and fill billing fields.
- Click Create.
Edit a customer
- Open the customer.
- Update contact details, address, and any custom shipment prices.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- Be cautious changing addresses for customers used by historical orders/shipments.
- Custom shipment prices are optional; if set, they can be used to auto-fill shipment pricing.
Delete a customer
Customers can be deleted from the edit page.
If a customer is still needed for history but should not be used going forward, consider setting Account status to Inactive instead of deleting.
Actions
Some customer screens include pricing import helper actions:
- Import customer prices: uploads customer/SKU pricing (see: Customer item prices).
- Download price template: downloads a CSV template for customer pricing imports.
Bulk actions
- Export to CSV: exports selected customers to CSV.
