TransGlobal Express

This guide covers what ParcelPilot needs to connect to TransGlobal Express (ProShip), where to find it, and where to enter it in ParcelPilot.

What ParcelPilot needs

  1. API Key
  2. API Password (this is for the API, not your TransGlobal website login)
  3. Environment (Sandbox / Production)
  4. Optional: Account Number
  5. Optional: Carrier Name (the underlying carrier to book through)

Where to find it (TransGlobal Express)

TransGlobal generally provides API access and credentials through their support/account team.

Typical steps:

  1. Contact TransGlobal Express and request API credentials for ProShip.
  2. Receive:
    • API Key
    • API Password
    • (Optionally) account number and environment details

ParcelPilot UI hint includes contact details:

  • enquiries@transglobalexpress.co.uk or call 0345 145 1212

Where to enter it in ParcelPilot

ParcelPilot Admin → Integrations → Carrier Integrations → create/edit a Carrier Integration with platform TransGlobal Express.

Fill these fields:

  • API Keycredentials.api_key
  • API Passwordcredentials.api_password
  • Account Number (optional) → credentials.account_number
  • Carrier Name (optional) → credentials.carrier_name
  • Environmentcredentials.environment

Services and routing

  • Set Allowed Services using TransGlobal ServiceID values as codes (e.g. 223) with friendly labels.
  • Use Auto Service Rules to map ecommerce platform/shipping method/order total/etc. to the right ServiceID.

Notes

  • TransGlobal bookings may use an underlying carrier. ParcelPilot can show TransGlobal tracking internally while pushing carrier-branded tracking externally to the connected ecommerce platform, depending on setup.

Security notes

  • Treat API Key and API Password as secrets.
