Tenants — Create, Edit & Delete

This guide covers administering Tenants (top-level accounts) in ParcelPilot.

Where: go to Administration → Tenants.

Create a tenant

Tenant creation is typically limited to users with tenant-level setup access.

  1. Go to Administration → Tenants.
  2. Click Create tenant.
  3. Set the core details:
    • Name
    • Unique short name
    • Active
    • Plan
    • Billing email (optional)
  4. Configure Branding:
    • Company logo (used in-app)
    • Email logo (recommended PNG/JPG/GIF for email client compatibility)
    • Colour pickers (primary + header)
    • Subdomain (the part before your ParcelPilot domain)
  5. Click Create.

Edit a tenant

  1. Open the tenant.
  2. Update plan/active status, branding, or subdomain as required.
  3. Click Save.

Notes:

  • Operators may be restricted to viewing/editing only their own tenant.
  • The subdomain and unique short name are long-term identifiers, so try not to change them once they are already in use.

Delete a tenant

Tenant deletion is typically limited to users with tenant-level setup access.

Deleting a tenant is destructive and will affect all associated data (clients, warehouses, etc.). Only delete if you are sure you no longer need the tenant.
