Receiving Stock with Receipts

Use Receipts when goods have already arrived and the warehouse needs to book them in.

Receipts are also where warehouse users finish the stock-receiving part of an expected delivery.

When should I use this?

Use the Receipts area when you want to:

  • work on the receipt linked to an expected delivery
  • create a standalone receipt for stock that is already on site
  • post stock into inventory after receiving is complete
  • review older pre-receipts or receipt-first workflows

If you know a delivery is coming but it has not arrived yet, start with Registering and receiving an expected delivery.

Common tasks

  • create a standalone receipt
  • update quantities, locations, or serials while receiving
  • print a Receiving Note checking sheet for warehouse use
  • finish a receipt with Post Receipt or Complete Receiving
  • review older pre-receipts where they still exist
