Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026.
This Cookie Policy explains how ParcelPilot uses cookies and similar technologies on this website and related public-facing pages.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can help a site remember your actions or preferences, keep forms and sessions working correctly, and help website owners understand how the site is being used.
2. How ParcelPilot uses cookies
We currently use cookies for the following main purposes:
- to remember your cookie consent preference and version
- to support secure website and application sessions
- to protect forms and requests against misuse or forgery
- to measure website usage using Google Analytics, but only where you have accepted analytics cookies
3. Essential and optional cookies
Some cookies are essential to the operation of the site or app. Others are optional and only used if you give consent.
Essential cookies may be used for session handling, security, login continuity, form protection, and remembering your cookie preference. Optional cookies are currently limited to analytics cookies used to understand site usage and improve the website.
4. Cookies we currently expect to use
The exact cookies present may vary depending on how you use the site, whether you log in, and whether analytics is enabled, but the main cookies we currently expect are:
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
pp_cookie_consent |
Stores your analytics consent choice together with the current consent policy version so we can re-prompt if our consent wording or categories materially change. | Essential preference cookie | Up to 180 days |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Supports request security and helps protect forms and authenticated requests. | Essential security cookie | Session or short-lived |
parcelpilot-session |
Maintains the website or application session, including logged-in use where relevant. | Essential session cookie | Session |
_ga, _ga_* |
Google Analytics cookies used to understand site usage and performance. | Optional analytics cookies | Typically up to 2 years |
Analytics is currently configured for this site and is only activated after you grant analytics consent.
5. Website cookies and app cookies
ParcelPilot includes both public website pages and application pages. Some cookies, especially session and security cookies, may be set when you use forms, log in, or interact with the application. These cookies are used to run the service securely and are not used for advertising.
6. Analytics cookies
We currently use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are visited and how users move through the site. We only load analytics after you have accepted analytics cookies through our cookie controls.
Our public pages use Google Tag Manager together with Google Consent Mode to apply that choice. Analytics storage is denied by default and only updated to granted after you opt in. We do not use this website cookie banner to request consent for advertising cookies.
7. Managing your preferences
You can change your preference at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of our public pages. If we make a material change to our consent setup, we may ask you to make that choice again by updating the consent version stored in the pp_cookie_consent cookie.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect how parts of the site or application work.
8. Third-party cookies
Where we use third-party services such as analytics providers, those services may set or read cookies in accordance with their own technology and policies once you have enabled the relevant category. We do not use cookies on this site for third-party behavioural advertising through this consent banner.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site, legal requirements, or the services we use. We will update the “Last updated” date when we do.
10. More information
