Legacy wording: orders shipped externally or collected

This page exists to catch older wording and redirect it to the current order-shipment workflow.

Current operator path

For normal fulfilment, start from Orders and use:

  • Create shipment for one order
  • Create shipments for a same-client batch

Then choose the correct Shipment method in the modal:

  • Customer collection
  • External courier
  • External fulfilment

For the full current workflow, see:

How old wording maps to the current workflow

  • old Mark as shipped (external) wording usually means External courier
  • old Mark as collected (external) wording usually means Customer collection
  • old Complete Fulfilment wording is not the current operator action; use the normal shipment workflow, shipment corrections, or admin-only Fulfilment Repair depending on what actually happened

Inventory and billing consequences

  • Customer collection and External courier create shipment evidence and deduct Parcel Pilot stock
  • External fulfilment creates shipment evidence and releases Parcel Pilot reservations, but does not deduct Parcel Pilot warehouse stock

Rule of thumb:

  • if the goods left the Parcel Pilot warehouse, use Customer collection or External courier even if the label came from the client
  • if another fulfiller shipped the order and Parcel Pilot stock should stay untouched, use External fulfilment
